Last Wednesday the Dow topped 20,000 for the first time. We hear that numbers like that are just symbolic, and their importance is mostly psychological. But as a sign of confidence and optimism it’s pretty clear.
What we hear and see that’s not just symbolic is the strong feeling among our neighbors here in the Lowcountry that 2017 is going to be a year of moving ahead.
We were nourished in a way during 2016 by the response this whole community put into coming back from Hurricane Matthew. We saw the teamwork and community spirit everywhere. Nobody here can recall a storm ever hitting us that squarely, and yet many of us are back to normal again, thanks to the way people all around responded and pitched in together.
Lots of folks say the past year gave us a new focus on what’s important too, and that includes home and family. Doing more than fixing up after the storm is part of that. People are improving the homes they’ve enjoyed here for years, with a new sense of how much it means to them.
If you’re thinking along these lines, or if this is the year you want to build your dream home, people we know say it’s easier than they thought – especially after they take the first step. We’ve helped hundreds of our neighbors define that dream, and get into action on it, for almost 40 years.
Whether it’s improving your home, or building a new one to match your dreams, with Tom Peeples Builder, you can be sure you’ll get thefinest in craftsmanship, service, and integrity. We’ve worked hard and patiently to live up to our promise: “We Make Building a Pleasure.”
