We learned a few weeks ago that Travel & Leisure named Hilton Head Island the #1 Island in the Continental U.S. for the second year in a row. The same source says we’re #2 in the world. Which is pretty good (given the competition – which included Bali, Maui and the Galapagos – and because you’d have to go to the Philippines to find number one). Here’s what they had to say:
The top island in the U.S. is so spectacular, it also ranks second among the Top 10 Islands in the world this year – and you need not go farther than South Carolina to experience the joys of Hilton Head. Now, the celebration here at Tom Peeples Builder is a little different when we get news like this. Since we’ve been building and improving homes for folks in the Lowcountry for almost 40 years, we see repeated awards like these as reminders and assurances of the value of building and improving your home here. In fact, it’s what we’ve been seeing all along.
And repeating the #1 in Travel & Leisure just underscores that persistence. It’s not this award or that award that signals what Hilton Head Island really is. No, it’s the fact that the awards keep on coming. They always have. We like to think the folks who live and work here in the Lowcountry are the reason they always do.
For almost four decades, we’ve built resources and relationships, not just homes. That strength and history goes on your side when you choose Tom Peeples Builder. And the way we communicate before, during and after your project sets us apart even further – we’ve learned that this clear connection with you is just as important as our building skills, our faithful subcontractors, and our resources in materials and finance.
So if you’re thinking of building or remodeling, give us a call. We think you’ll find that, at Tom Peeples Builder, when recognition rolls in and business is brisk (as it is now), we still strive to live up to our motto: “We make building a pleasure.”
